Frequently Asked Questions

Can we try a class before committing?

Absolutely! We offer a trial class for all new students. It’s the perfect way for your child to experience the environment and for you to see our teaching style in action before signing up for a class.

What should my child wear?

As a Christian based family centered facility, we at Bounce Back Gymnastics value safety and modesty.

For this reason, we ask that athletes follow the apparel guidelines as listed below.

Girls should wear a one piece leotard or leotard and biker shorts or form fitting clothes that will not catch on the equipment. Boys should wear a T-shirt and shorts or athletic pants. No baggy clothing or jeans permitted and no socks are permitted as they may slip on some of the gym surfaces. Grippy socks or gymnastics shoes may be worn if desired. No jewelry with the exception of post earrings. Hair must be pulled tightly away from the face.

Can I watch my child during class?

We have a designated viewing area where parents are welcome to observe with the exception of a few reserved seats in our gym for kids who need their parents near by. However, to keep the kids focused and the distractions low, we ask that parents remain in the viewing area.

Are your coaches certified and trained?

Yes! Every member of our coaching staff is first aid CPR trained and gymnastics specific safety trained. They also participate in ongoing professional development to ensure they are using the best and safest teaching techniques.

What is your drop-off and pick-up policy?

Safety is our priority. Children ages 4 and older can be dropped off. For the safety of our younger students, parents or guardians of children 3 and under must remain present for the entire class.

Please drop off your child no earlier than 10 minutes before class starts. For pick-up, we require parents to come inside the building to pick their child up. If someone else other than the designated parent(s) or guardian is picking up your child, please notify the front desk in advance.

What is your policy on cancellations, make-up classes, or withdrawals?

If you do not wish to continue in a class, you are free to cancel at any time. To do this, you will need to fill out and submit a Drop Slip. Drop slips must be submitted before the last week of the month to ensure that you will not be charged for the
next month. A Drop Slip can be found on our website or be picked up at the front desk, by the gym door. Drop slips should be placed in the Drop Box at the Front Desk.

There are a number of reasons that your child might miss class, including but not limited to illness, travel, and scheduling conflicts. Although we do not offer a make up class time, we do offer free open gym for everyone who is enrolled in classes and recommend that open gym time be used as a chance to make up for time missed in the gym.

How do I choose a class that is the right fit for my child?

We typically group classes by age and/or skill level. You can find detailed descriptions for each level on our website. If you’re unsure, please contact the front desk, we will be happy to find you a spot.

Don't worry if the first choice isn't perfect—we'll monitor your child's progress and suggest a class that suits them better.
